- According to the mysterious sources of Ryan Satin at ProWrestlingSheet.com, Rusev has officially been cleared to return to the WWE ring.
Rusev is an official member of the Smackdown Live roster. A little over a month ago, Rusev appeared on Smackdown Live in a prerecorded video demanding a WWE Championship Match at this Sunday’s “Money in the Bank” event. Those plans were seemingly changed when Jinder Mahal was moved into a championship feud with Randy Orton.
The timing could be perfect for Rusev to still appear this Sunday.
Additionally, Rusev’s wife Lana is challenging Naomi for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Could he be there for a possible championship celebration? Only time will tell.
