One of the biggest recent stories in professional wrestling is the contract status of Adam Cole.
- It was reported earlier this month by multiple wrestling news sources that Adam Cole‘s WWE contract had expired.
- With the current changes to the NXT brand, speculation was building that Adam Cole will be departing the brand soon.
- A few days after this news broke, it was reported by various outlets that Cole had signed a short extension to work with WWE through their big NXT Takeover 36 show, where he will face Kyle O’Reilly in a 3 Stages of Hell Match.
- Rumors have been running wild, brother, including a news story stating that Vince McMahon personally met with him and has offered Adam Cole a $1,000,000.00 contract with clear plans for his WWE main roster debut.
And here we are. Recently on his Twitch Stream, TheChugs, Adam Cole stated that there was “zero chance his channel was going away.”
Could this be an indication that he plans on leaving WWE, which has strict regulations on superstars having Twitch channels?
At this point, only time will tell. With NXT Takeover 36 on the horizon, and the assumed end of his long time rivalry/friendship with Kyle O’Reilly, could this be it?
Will Adam Cole choose to bring The Panama Sunrise to AEW? Or will his WWE run continue to build his legacy in New York?
