During WrestleMania week, AJ Styles appeared on the Sam Roberts’ Wrestling Podcast, where he talked about several things like his move to WWE, Japan and more, but most notably, his experience with TNA Impact Wrestling.
Here’s what he said:
“I didn’t shed one tear when I left TNA. I was very emotional when I left New Japan.”

And TNA shouldn’t have shed any tears either over you, Allen Neal – they pushed you to the moon and you did NOTHING for ratings – I went to a TNA house show where you were featured and there were 200 or less people there.
You are a little fish in a big pond so you are making money.
But when you could grow a struggling company as the big fish – you did NOTHING for them.
FACT!
Just keep talking, Allen Neal Jones.
This is the honeymoon period – everyone acts like Vince is God – he even got Sting to sell his soul for God’s sake.
But there will come a time WWE gets tired of you, you get tired of them, and then things won’t be so good – you don’t have a chance in Hell of winning the World title.
Look at Del Rio – badmouthing WWE and then they sign him – and now he is a jobber like he was last night.
Talk to Scott Steiner if you don’t believe me.
WWE just signed Del Rio to keep him from other companies.
They have no plan or use for him, other than to be in some lame boring group going nowhere.
And the thing is at the end?
Dixie put AJ in a great storyline in TNA and had him win the belt at BFG.
Some people are so ungrateful.
Unfairly, people like kicking into TNA — and it is too bad because everyone there, right down to Dixie, are truly good people and work hard.
Somehow kicking into TNA has become the cool “IN” thing to do among the IWC and smarks.
Just makes me love TNA even more.
I am gonna try to go to Bound for Glory this year.
Until you get mic skills, Allen Neal, just shut up.
