During a special New Year’s Eve-midnight release edition of “Being The Elite,” the episode officially announced the formation of All Elite Wrestling.
Along with AEW, the episode revealed that All In 2 will be happening and has been branded as “Double or Nothing.” There will be more news coming soon on this event.
Along with this video, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter went live with a podcast breaking down the news, as it was clearly coordinated to be released as the same time.
Meltzer revealed that the company is official and Cody Rhodes is officially signed. The Young Bucks have yet to officially sign, but are expected to within the next few days.
Meltzer also stated that the company has multiple TV deal offers and are expected to land one in the very near future. Jacksonville Jaguars partial owner Tony Khan will head the company.
