Andrade “Cien” Almas Undergoes Slight Name Change

They did it again!

Andrade “Cien” Almas is the latest victim of WWE’s name-chopping, as they have changed his name by eliminating the last two thirds.

Going forward, WWE will be referring to him as just “Andrade.”

Throughout SmackDown LIVE this week, commentators went out of their way to only say his first name and all graphics of his name did not display “Cien Almas.”

There is no word on why this change was made, but one could speculate that it is to make him more marketable as a performer.

WWE has a history of trimming names, as they’ve done it to many other performers like Cesaro, Rusev, Neville and others.
