In a follow up to the Awesome King-Reby Sky incident from last week, TNA announced yesterday that Kong has indeed been released from the company. Kong herself confirmed this in her Twitter with the following:
My time this round in TNA was fun. Time for me to move on to other things. #Released #HeadHeldHigh

There’s no telling what the future holds for Awesome Kong, but some fans are speculating that Lucha Underground would be the perfect setting for her to get a fresh start. The chances of another run in WWE are unlikely at this time.
