According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, ‘Blue Pants’ (Leva Bates) has a lot of heat on her from other NXT talent. The majority of the concerns are that she was brought in for the NXT TakeOver event despite not being under any official NXT deal. This has allowed her to sell her own merchandise without WWE getting a cut of the profits.
She has also been able to increase her indy booking fees because of her NXT TV presence and doesn’t have to do the daily WWE Performance Center training.
