As seen on this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, current WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar did an interview talking about his upcoming match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
During this interview, Lesnar mentioned that he defeated The Rock at SummerSlam 2002 and sent him to Hollywood.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that particular line was scripted for Lesnar because WWE officials are interested in doing Brock Lesnar vs. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at WrestleMania 32 if Brock Lesnar does end up re-signing with WWE.
