Later tonight, WWE Champion Randy Orton is set to face off against Bray Wyatt in a “House of Horrors” match at WWE Payback on the WWE Network.
According to a report from PWInsider.com, the match is set to take place in two separate locations. To start the match, Wyatt and Orton will be inside an actual remote house with several rooms, all with different themes. The match is set to begin in the house and be concluded in the ring. The report states that the segments inside the house have been prerecorded and is reportedly 10 minutes long (give or take).
From the house, the report states that Wyatt and Orton will somehow make their way to the arena and will continue their match live in the arena and on the pay-per-view broadcast. The details on how they’ll move from the house to the arena and how WWE will tell this story is still unknown.
Also, there has been wide confusion on whether the WWE Championship is on the line tonight; it is not. This is simply a grudge match. After tonight’s match, this feud is expected to be over and Orton will continue on SmackDown LIVE and Wyatt will solely be a member of Monday Night Raw.
