WWE officials were reportedly “thrilled” with how the NXT Divas debut segment went down on Raw last night according to PWInsider.com,
The angle which is being referred to as the “Divas Revolution” angle was originally planned to take place around SummerSlam in August, but with the U.S. Womens Soccer team just winning the World Cup, WWE wanted to capitalize on all the attention the women were receiving.
Charlotte’s father Ric Flair was backstage for Raw and was said to be very emotional watching his daughter make her debut.
