On a recent Wrestling Observer Radio with Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer, the duo reported that the current status of Paige‘s future with the WWE is looking bleak.
During the episode, Meltzer stated that it’s being rumored that Talent Relations Representative Mark Carrano, who fans might know from Total Divas, went to Paige and Alberto Del Rio and “harassed” them about ending the relationship.
Paige reportedly told someone within the company that Carrano said that if she didn’t break up with Del Rio, she would be fired from the company. Meltzer did say that he doesn’t believe Carrano said that word for word, but believes it’s possible that he hinting at it. As for her current status with the company, things are just looking really negative for her at this moment and Meltzer mentioned that this story being leaked has also not helped her situation.
Meltzer mentioned that it’s very possible that Paige could be gone from the company, but did state that Paige’s contract still has a lot of time on it, so it would have to be a mutual agreement between both sides on a release if that is what takes place.
Obviously, this comes on the heels of her and Del Rio’s suspensions and it being reported that Del Rio is also done with the company and will be released soon.
