After the show, there were several updates and notes from various sources about what happened on tonight’s show.
Many on social media questioned why Dean Ambrose didn’t join Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns after the big reveal of Reigns being in remission of his leukemia at the top of the ramp.
According to Fightful.com, Dean Ambrose requested to be left out of the segment at the beginning of the show. The report cites that Ambrose was seen very emotional backstage during Reigns’ overwhelmingly positive announcement.
Speaking of Reigns’ announcement, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com provided an update on some of the backstage details of Reigns’ return.
The report claims that Vince McMahon was the first to be told that Roman Reigns was cancer free and that it was Roman’s decision to come back so soon. In addition to Vince, Stephanie McMahon, Kevin Dunn, Michelle Wilson and Triple H were aware of all the details as well. WWE made it a conscious effort to keep this news as close to the inner circle as possible.
