According to a report on PWInsider.com, Impact Wrestling is still actively pursuing The Hardys’ Broken characters.
On April 28th, the company filed for the rights to “Brother Nero”, “Broken Matt” & “Broken Brilliance.”
It has been heavily rumored over the past few weeks that WWE was trying to bring the Broken character back for Matt Hardy. We have been seeing him use bits & pieces of the character since his return to WWE.
