During an interview late in 2016, current NXT Champion Bobby Roode stated that his popular theme song, “Glorious,” was originally intended for another Superstar, which we have now learned was Shinsuke Nakamura.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Nakamura was sent Roode’s current theme song, but declined it. The report states that WWE and Nakamura went back and forth on several samples of music, until they both came to an agreement on his current theme song called, “The Rising Sun.”
