After defying the odds by returning to the ring last year following his battle with stomach cancer, Kris Travis, 32, also known as the “Shooting Star” has sadly passed away.
Since his diagnosis in 2014, Travis had been determined and fought tremendously hard to make his epic in-ring return last year. However, his comeback was sadly short-lived with him being forced to retire on doctors’ orders due to his health taking a turn.
The editor of Fighting Spirit Magazine, Brian Elliott, confirmed the tragic news of the loved performer’s passing earlier today.
“It is with deep regret that I write that Kris Travis died this morning,” “He will be missed.”
Tributes on social media have been pouring in all day from friends, colleagues and fans of the Shooting Star.
Indeed a star gone too soon.
