It looks like we now know why Brock Lesnar retained the WWE Universal Championship last night at WrestleMania 34. It has been announced that Lesnar has re-signed with WWE & his next championship defense will be in a rematch with Roman Reigns at the Greatest Royal Rumble on April 27th in Saudi Arabia.
Here is the breaking news coming out of WWE.com:
WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon announced today that Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has re-signed with WWE. Lesnar’s next appearance is scheduled for the Greatest Royal Rumble event, where he will compete against Roman Reigns in a Steel Cage Match for the Universal Title at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27, at 7 p.m. AST.
There’s not telling whether or not Brock will appear on RAW tonight, but I would honestly be surprised if he did. We’ll have to wait and see!
