UFC’s anti-doping partner has drug tested Brock Lesnar five times since his name was put in the program for UFC 200, according to the USADA website. Lesnar is scheduled to face Mark Hunt after several years away from MMA.
UFC vice president of health and performance Jeff Novitzky confirmed with MMAFighting.com earlier this week that Lesnar had been tested at least three times.
The results of those tests have yet to come back.
For those who are unaware, this is perfectly normal. USADA is one of the best drug-testing screeners in combat sports. The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer has stated that Novitzky and USADA are dead-set on cleaning UFC and if that means testing their biggest stars at random, then so be it.
