Brock Lesnar returned to the UFC for a heavyweight collision with Mark Hunt at UFC 200 back in July of this year. Just days after the fight, two USADA (U.S. Anti-Doping Agency) violations for Lesnar were announced. The substance that Lesnar tested positive for is known as Clomiphene (or Clomid for short), which is an estrogen modulator that is used by people following the use of various performance enhancing drugs to boost their testosterone levels. Lesnar vehemently denies knowingly taking any banned substances & will state so during an upcoming hearing scheduled for November 10, 2016.
However, according to Brett Okamoto of ESPN, Brock has requested a continuance in the hearing and will attend the hearing in person this December if the continuance is granted. Unfortunately for Lesnar, he faces a two-year ban from competing in the UFC & could have his win over Mark Hunt at UFC 200 overturned.
Lesnar’s camp contends that the violation could be from a foot cream that was used during his camp. The cream is currently being tested at a lab in Salt Lake City. The same lab already tested an eye medication that came up negative for clomiphene.
The next scheduled event for Brock Lesnar is WWE Survivor Series on November 20th where he will square off with Goldberg.
Brock Lesnar has requested a continuance on his Nov. 10 NSAC. His attorney told NSAC he is still in the process of testing a foot cream.
