According to Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com, Brock Lesnar is in serious talks with the UFC about coming back to fight at UFC 200 on July 9, 2016.
Helwani stated that multiple sources have confirmed that Lesnar is close to finalizing a deal with the promotion to return. A potential opponent hasn’t been discussed or confirmed yet.
Helwani didn’t shed light on how this will effect Lesnar’s current status with WWE, but rumors were circulating that Brock had almost finished that amount of dates he had signed on for in his current contract.
For what it’s worth, Lesnar has been advertised for the July 11th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, which is rumored to be the set date for the Brand Extension Draft.
UFC 199 is taking place tonight, so it is possible that Dana White may shed some light on these rumors.
