Yesterday we reported that a Brock Lesnar return to UFC seemed likely due to a meeting at UFC headquarters. Also, we reported that Lesnar had reentered the USADA drug testing pool.
These rumors are false, according to UFC Vice President of Athletes & Performance, Jeff Novitsky. He sent a quote to MMA Junkie stating:
“He is not currently enrolled in the USADA testing pool, nor has there been any inquiry on his part to do so.”
This does not necessarily mean that there isn’t interest in a Brock Lesnar return to UFC. It is perfectly plausible that Lesnar does compete inside The Octagon in the future.
