Last night at Ring of Honor “Global Wars”, Bully Ray made an announcement to the audience that he is retiring from the ring. This announcement was made shortly after saving Cheeseburger from an attack by The Addiction. Bully put Kazarian through a table with a chokeslam.
Bully grabbed the microphone & said that he is at a point where he has to think about his health. A number of weeks ago, Bully received a hard shot to the head with a table. He suffered an apparent terrible concussion which is a major factor in this decision.
Bully ended the promo by inviting a child named Chase into the ring, presenting him with a piece of “the last table he’ll ever put someone through”, thanking the crowd & leaving to a standing ovation.
If this is truly the end of Bully Ray’s in-ring career, we would like to say THANK YOU for all of the memories that you have provided us with.
