The hits just keep on coming…
Chad Mendes has been suspended by USADA for two years after testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug in an out-of-competition sample May 17. The banned substance GHRP-6, also known as growth-hormone releasing hexapeptide, was found in Mendes’ system.
The 31 year old won’t be able to return to the UFC until June 10, 2018, two years from the date of the beginning of his provisional suspension.
This news comes after both Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar being flagged by USADA.
