During the build-up to this Sunday’s WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, WWE has been billing the structure as an “all-new” version, which led to many being confused on what that means.
Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer LIVE noted that WWE has made some modifications to the design and makeup of the structure. Alvarez noted that due to the scoreboard upgrades all over the country in arenas, WWE has found it to be harder and harder to hang the structure from atop the arena. It’s reported that WWE has made the structure much lighter, which will help with the logistics of hanging and lowering the chamber.
At this time, it’s still unclear if WWE has made any changes to the inside of the chamber. We’ll obviously know more on Sunday.
