In a story that is still breaking and developing, it appears that Charlotte Flair was written off of TV last night.
After Charlotte was defeated by WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka, she would be attacked by Nia Jax backstage.
Many assumed this was to set up a triple threat between Jax, Asuka, and Flair at Extreme Rules, but that is not going to be the case. It now makes sense as to why Asuka has moved on to Sasha Banks.
Charlotte will be taking an extended break.
Reports state she will be having an undisclosed surgery during that time. There are differing reports as to a potential return. There is minimal hope she could be back for SummerSlam, however early reports are placing her return between Survivor Series and The Royal Rumble.
