For the past week or so, Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega have had a feud on Twitter that has captured the imagination of wrestling fans. We didn’t know whether they were really mad at each other, working an angle for the Chris Jericho’s Rock & Wrestling Rager at Sea, or possibly something even bigger.
And it looks like the latter is true. Chris Jericho has issued a challenge to Kenny Omega for a match at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 12.
The match has been accepted by Omega and is official!
Although experts are quite certain that Jericho is making this appearance for New Japan Pro Wrestling to continue the sustained push of Kenny Omega as the IWGP United States Champion, it remains to be seen if this card will be added to live betting sites across the web. The odds would be very interesting to analyze due to the “anything can happen” nature surrounding Chris Jericho. Might be a smart underdog bet.
