Congratulations to Jerry Lynn!
If you’re not familiar with Lynn, he is widely considered one of the best professional wrestlers of the late 1990’s & early 2000’s. Lynn spent time wrestling in WCW, ECW, WWE, TNA & Ring of Honor; as well as many other independent wrestling promotions throughout the years.
Jerry Lynn put on a series of incredible match with Rob Van Dam in 1999 during an incredible feud for the ECW World Television Championship.
He went on to defeat Justin Credible to become the ECW World Heavyweight Championship in 2000.
Shortly thereafter, Lynn went on to join the WWE, winning the Lightweight Championship. His run with the federation was short-lived & not that memorable.
Lynn moved on to TNA Wrestling in 2002 & became a lynchpin of the newly established X-Division, winning that championship on 2 separate occasions among other accolades.
Jerry Lynn, nearly 10 years after his first World Championship win, became the Ring of Honor World Champion in 2009, defeating Nigel McGuinness for the championship.
Recently, X-Pac thanked Lynn during his WWE Hall of Fame induction speech due to their rivalry in the Global Wrestling Federation in the early 1990s.
