UPDATE: Sandow has made it clear that he has NO plans to retire.
The wrestler formerly known as Damien Sandow (Aaron Rex in TNA) has finished up his run with Impact Wrestling. This past weekend at WrestleCon, the Title Match Wrestling YouTube Account caught up with Sandow for a brief interview.
“I don’t know if this is going to be it for me, because you know I’m no longer with Impact. Ending on this note is not a bad thing. I’m not saying that I’m never going to get in the ring again, but this is pretty cool & I would much rather people remember me for all the good stuff than to try to kind of hang on.”
Sandow alluded to possible retirement, but with the current WWE brand split in play, don’t be shocked if Sandow returns to the company in a supporting cast role to add depth to the roster.
