This past Monday on Raw, during the final moments, Titus O’Neil playfully grabbed Vince McMahon by the arm and pulled him forward. We have now learned that the reason for this was because O’Neil was telling Vince, “ladies first,” when referring to Stephanie McMahon, as the McMahon crew started walking toward backstage.
Titus was suspended for 90 days, but a day later, the suspension was reduced to 60 days.
According to PWInsider.com, it could have been a lot worse. Apparently Vince McMahon was so irate, he wanted to fire Titus O’Neil on the spot. Luckily, several top officials talked McMahon down and convinced him to cool off before making any decisions. Among the officials that talked him down were Triple H and Joey Mercury.
Even with the 60 day suspension, O’Neil will miss WrestleMania.
