According to PWInsider.com, former WWE manager Dutch Mantel (fka Zeb Colter) has been made head of creative for TNA Impact Wrestling. Mantel has been with TNA in the past, but left the company after creative disputes.
Mantel will be replacing John Gaburick, who has been the head of creative for years. “Big John” will be accepting a role as a consultant for the company, while running the gorilla position. Additionally, Jeff Jarrett will be running the day-to-day operations of Impact Wrestling and will serve as an adviser to creative as well, writing and booking the show with Mantel.
Mantel was recently seen on WWE television as Zeb Colter, where he managed Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio. Colter was released by the company last year being a part of the annual mass roster cuts from WWE.
