After being granted an early release from Impact Wrestling, former Impact Wrestling World Champion Ethan Carter III was written out of the company this past weekend and is no longer under contract.
EC3 had taken an indie booking on the night of the Royal Rumble but earlier this week was pulled from the booking. After reports of mutual interest on both sides this week comes a new report from PWInsider, that EC3 was at the WWE Performance Center on Tuesday this week.
So, based on what’s taken place this week, the possibility of Carter showing up at the Royal Rumble isn’t impossible.
