As seen at last night’s Royal Rumble, Edge returned to WWE. For those wondering it was not a legend appearance.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Edge has actually been cleared for several months. He flew out to Pittsburgh to be evaluated by the WWE medical team and was cleared to return.
He recently signed a new 3 year contract with WWE, despite having talks with AEW.
It is expected that Edge will be on Raw going forward. It should be noted that he will not be appearing weekly or wrestling at every event to start. If I had to guess I would expect Edge to be handled like when Shawn Michaels returned in 2002.
No matter what, Edge is back and things are about to get INTERESTING!!!
