In a story that seems to have gotten lost in the Wrestlemania week shuffle, Eli Drake was fired from Impact Wrestling. Drake, real name Shaun Ricker, was fired after more recent comments against the company. This comes on the heels of Ricker refusing to compete against Tessa Blanchard at the United We Stand show last week.
Drake’s deal was set to expire at the end of May, but as of this time it is unknown if he has a no compete deal in place. One would imagine AEW and WWE( NXT) would love to have the former Impact World Champion on board. Time will tell where he ends up next.

“Impact Wrestling announced today that it has terminated its relationship with Shaun Ricker, known as ‘Eli Drake’.”
