Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor is Official; August 26th in Las Vegas

Finally.

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor will fight the greatest pound-for-pound boxer in history Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas on August 26, 2017. The heavily speculated bout will be one of the biggest, most hyped combat sports events ever.

This will be Conor McGregor’s first professional boxing match. Floyd Mayweather is 49-0 as a professional boxer.

Mayweather Promotions is behind promoting the fight, while Showtime Boxing will lead the way for the pay-per-view.

UFC President Dana White negotiated the fight on behalf of Conor McGregor after ‘The Notorious One’ agreed to it this past May. Floyd accepted the fight earlier today & shortly thereafter, both confirmed the contest on social media.
