According to the great Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Goldberg signed on earlier this week to compete in the 2017 Royal Rumble. This could have been a determining factor in the dominating victory over Brock Lesnar.
As previously reported, Royal Rumble will take place at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas, which can seat over 70,000 people. WWE last ran the Alamo Dome at the 1997 Royal Rumble. They want all hands on deck for this major event.
