Eiji Ezaki, the man behind the mask of Japanese Wrestling Legend Hayabusa, has died at 47 years of age.
The official cause of death is said to be a subarachnoid hemorrhage, which is bleeding in the brain.
Here is quick write-up from one of our contributors, Derron Browning, in our official PWP Nation Wrestling Group on Facebook:
“Wrestling takes another huge loss today as former FMW star and the innovator of the Phoenix Splash, Hayabusa passed away at 47.
Many of you may not know who he is but look him up as he was amazing in his prime. Also, watch ECW Heat Wave 98 on the WWE Network, where he and Jinsei Shinzaki (Hakushi) face off vs. Sabu and Rob Van Dam.
Forget John Cena, Hayabusa is the perfect example of “Never Give Up”. After a tragic in-ring accident that caused him to be paralyzed, the doctors told him he’ll never walk again. Last year, he beat the odds and gained his mobility back.
RIP, Ezaki-san. Thank you for the memories.”
