Less than 24 hours after he was removed from his UFC on Fox 19 match with Lyoto Machida after the Brazilian was flagged for alleged use of a banned substance, Dan Henderson will take on Hector Lombard in a middleweight bout at UFC 199, according to sources close to the negotiations. The event goes down June 4 at The Forum in Los Angeles, California.

Henderson (31-14), is in need of a win following the worst stretch of his career. The 45-year-old knockout artist is just 2-6 in his last eight bouts, and has been stopped inside the distance in four of those contests.

Lombard, 34-5, last saw action in a controversial clash with Neil Magny on March 19. Lombard sustained a prolonged beating before the action was eventually stopped by referee Steve Perceval early in the third stanza. Many fans and pundits felt the duel should have been stopped at earlier points in the exchange.

Tim Bell
Been a wrestling fan for almost 30 years. I've seen Hulkamania, The New Generation, The NWO, the Attitude Era, and the PG Era, and I've enjoyed all of it in different ways. I still remember standing on the guardrail at ten years old and having it fall over in front of Razor Ramon. I was there live when The Undertaker abducted Stephanie McMahon, and I was there when The Rock surprised the entire TD Garden at a house show. Recently been getting into a lot of independent wrestling, especially in the Northeast. I follow WWE, NXT, TNA, ROH and NJPW, among others, but mainly only watch WWE/NXT religiously. I'll probably be more positive about WWE than you, and I'm OK with that.
