For quite some time, rumors and speculation has been running wild about WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan returning to WWE at WrestleMania 33 on April 2nd, 2017 in Orlando, Florida.
Hogan has been brushing off the rumors for months, but he did take the time out on Thursday evening to address the rumors:
Maniacs I have no plans to be at WM33,I will be at Hogans Beach Shop Orlando on International Dr,March 29/April 3D-? See u at HBS! BrotherHH
— Hulk Hogan (@HulkHogan) March 17, 2017
In the tweet, Hogan refers to his restaurant, “Hogan’s Beach House,” which will be opening a new location in Orlando and will be doing meet and greets during WrestleMania, obviously trying to capitalize on the large number of wrestling fans that will be in attendance.
Several months ago, Hulk’s daughter, Brooke Hogan confirmed with TMZ Sports that Hogan and WWE were in talks about a return, but Hogan has since tried to downplay that story.
Now, it’s obvious that Hogan wouldn’t just come out and say he’s going to be at WrestleMania and probably wants to keep it a surprise if he is appearing. Or it’s very possible that he wants to shut down the rumors so fans don’t get their hopes up.
