Hulk Hogan has been awarded $115 million dollars in his lawsuit against Gawker, the media company that illegally distributed a clip of a private sex tape featuring The Hulkster.
Hogan was awarded $55 million dollars in economic damagers and $60 million for emotional distress. There will also be a hearing Monday to determine if punitive damages will be awarded to the Hogan Camp.
Gawker will likely appeal the decision considering the $115 million dollar verdict will likely put the company out of business.
On a personal note, as a huge Hulk Hogan fan, I hope that this closes a dark chapter of Hogan’s life & he can move forward in a positive way for the rest of his days.
