Earlier this week, we reported that New Day member Xavier Woods was injured in action this past weekend during a live event in a tag team match against Brezzango.
In an update, Woods stated that he has a sprained MCL, which will reportedly keep him out of action for the 3-4 weeks. Originally, Woods and many backstage officials believed he could be out for several months.
Woods will reportedly remain on TV in a non-wrestling role, as Kofi Kingston and Big E will be competing from a week-to-week basis.
