During a recent appearance on Cerrito Live podcast over the weekend, Jerry Lawler revealed that he signed a new deal with WWE for another year.
Lawler’s contract with the company expired in December, which led many to believe WWE wasn’t going to re-sign the WWE Hall of Famer. Lawler has been featured less and less over the last few years and is only used now in certain situations. Lawler was seen on SmackDown LIVE last week, where he was involved in an angle with Dolph Ziggler.
It was also reported that Lawler will be on commentary during the Royal Rumble match, which leads many to believe he’ll be involved with Ziggler in some form or fashion, possibly costing him the match.
