Earlier this morning, WWE Hall of Fame announcer Jim Ross revealed that his wife, Jan, was involved in an accident while driving her Vespa scooter on her way to the gym near their home in Oklahoma.
It’s being said that Jan was not wearing a helmet and her head was struck during the accident. Jan has since been rushed to the emergency room of a local hospital and is currently in surgery to repair multiple skull fractures and head wounds.
TMZ Sports was able to speak with Ross this morning to provide an update on the situation. Ross told TMZ that the situation was very “touch and go” and that he’s absolutely devastated by this.
Since then, Ross has tweeted out an update on his Twitter account:
My wife Jan, my little angel, was hit while riding her Vespa & has multiple skull fractures. She’s in surgery now. We need a miracle.

Since the news broke, fans and colleagues have been sending Ross and his wife a huge wave of support, which Ross responded with a simple tweet:
