Impact Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace has called out ECW Hardcore Icon The Sandman for disparaging sexist remarks made to her & other female wrestlers at an independent wrestling event.
In the tweet below, Grace blasts The Sandman for stating the women wrestlers main eventing a show is “wrong.”
Hey remember that time The Sandman came up to four women about to main event to tell us that women main eventing is “wrong” and “any male wrestler with any sort of experience would agree”?

Was this in 1998?
No, it was tonight. December 2019.
Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) Owner Brett Lauderdale chimed in on the situation with a different take; acknowledging that The Sandman’s opinion is “outdated”, but also shining a light on the virtue signaling done by Grace.
Who could possibly care enough about The Sandman's opinion to be offended? What do you expect from the guy? He's usually wasted, permanently shot out, and eternally fried. Not everyone is a beacon of progression nor should we expect them to be. Everything's gonna be ok.

Nah, the view is outdated, dumb and proven to be false.

On the contrary, I think tweeting about it is dignifying the comments and giving attention to the skewed views of a guy with documented substance abuse issues, brain damage and a strengthening case of irrelevance. https://t.co/dy4QXIggQa
It remains to be seen if this comment by ECW legend The Sandman will affect his bookings moving forward.
