A new IWGP Intercontinental Champion was crowned today at the New Japan Pro Wrestling “New Beginning in Niigata” event. Kenny Omega was victorious over Hiroshi Tanahashi in a match for the vacated championship that was last held by WWE bound Shinsuke Nakamura.
