For the first time since Wrestle Kingdom 13, former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega made a public appearance at the Tokyo Sports Awards ceremony.
Omega claimed, while accepting the award, that he will be wrestling for a large international platform once his contract expires. He attended the ceremony with Kazuchika Okada to accept the award for best bout of 2018.
During his acceptance speech, Omega said the following, which was translated by Chris Charlton:
Kenny said he wouldn’t stand on the Tokyo Sports stage next year, that he would still be putting on moty performances on a large international platform. https://t.co/hxYixwqPrk

Speculation continues as to where Kenny Omega will land, but the favorite right now is All Elite Wrestling, as rumors circulated that Omega turned down a recent WWE offer.
Only time will tell.
