International wrestling star Kota Ibushi revealed to Tokyo Sports that he will not be accepting a full-time WWE contract.
In the interview, Ibushi stated, “zero, absolutely not” when it was brought up if he would sign a full-time contract with WWE. Ibushi did tout that he hopes because of his involvement in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic and being in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic with Hideo Itami, that it’ll open the door for other Japanese stars from New Japan Pro-Wrestling and elsewhere.
Ibushi in past interviews have stated the same thing and says he’s not interested in working the tough road schedule and wants to work as much or as little as he wants.
