Earlier this week, Kurt Angle was pulled from his booking at this Saturday’s “5 Star Wrestling” TV show, which is set to air live on Spike TV at 8pm ET, which will be hours before the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
After this move, many speculated that Kurt Angle will in-fact be in the Rumble match. But, Angle spoke to TMZ Sports and shut down rumors of appearing at the Rumble.
Keep in mind that it is possible that WWE has not contacted Angle about the Rumble or Angle could be playing his cards close to the vest and wants his entrance into the Rumble match to be a surprise. Only time will tell.
