According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials will be keeping Bayley in NXT for “a little while longer.”
Apparently, this is due to the idea that WWE officials don’t feel like moving Bayley up to the main roster would be the right move for the NXT brand. At this time, WWE officials don’t feel like they have another babyface to step in and take over Bayley’s spot.
So, as a result of their lack of confidence in the NXT women’s division, Bayley will remain in developmental until they feel that someone can take her spot.
