According to our close personal friend Dave Meltzer, plans are already in place for a rematch between Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg. The report states that Lesnar and Vince McMahon agreed that there is still money to be made in the feud.
Lesnar apparently pitched the idea of a multi match series and Vince agreed. The idea was then presented to Goldberg, and Goldberg signed a deal that has yet to be revealed.
It was at that point that the match result was changed. The finish supposedly has nothing to do with the shoulder that was reportedly injured, but had more to do with the fact that that’s how Goldberg’s matches ended in WCW.
PWPNation reported last night that Goldberg was indeed scheduled for the Royal Rumble, and according to the report by Meltzer, WRESTLEMANIA 33 is also in play.
