Earlier today, the news broke that Brock Lesnar has possibly failed a USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) out-of-competition drug test on June 28th.
Since the news came out, Mark Hunt has been very vocal about the cheating that goes on in MMA and especially in the UFC and has demanded that UFC give Hunt at least half of Lesnar’s purse from the UFC 200 post-fight earnings.
It’s reported that Lesnar made $2.5 million dollars on fight night, and is expected to make between $5-8 million dollars when he gets a price of the pay-per-view buy rates.
Not only did Hunt explain he wants half of Lesnar’s UFC 200 earnings, but he stated that if they don’t do so, he would be asking for his release from the UFC. It’s unclear at this time what Lesnar tested positive for. USADA’s policy is to not disclose the substance unless the athlete decides to.
