For the last several months, many fans and people around WWE have speculated that Matt Hardy was done with in-ring competition and would continue with WWE in a backstage role.
Well, Hardy is denying these claims and says he has no plans to retire anytime soon.
Here’s a tweet he sent out earlier this week:
No, I am not retired & not going to be retiring anytime soon. I’ve worked my ass off to rehabilitate & have physically been greenlit. My body is in the best shape it’s been in in years & I’m the lightest I’ve been in 20 years. https://t.co/XE1GzBP58A

Hardy has not appeared on WWE television since the summer, when he and Bray Wyatt lost the Raw Tag Team Titles to The B Team. Hardy hasn’t wrestled since on Sept. 15 at a live event in Corpus Christi, Texas.
It is currently unclear if Hardy will be put on WWE TV or if creative has any plans for him.
